We're here to provide you with products that make you FEEL GOOD--that lift your spirits, change your attitude, surround you with yummy positive energy and give you a break from all the negative clutter. We're also here to DO GOOD--save the planet and its inhabitants by offering green, organic, sweatshop-free, sustainable materials WHILE donating money to NGO's working toward a WORLD THAT WORKS FOR EVERYONE.

SOURCES We pick the suppliers and manufacturers we do business with based on a few key criteria:

Quality of product -- we test everything to make sure it looks great, fits great, feels great, smells great. This is especially important since many people's perceptions of organic, local, healthy, green, sweatshop-free seems to be that the product will be sub-par. Quite the contrary!

Environmental impact -- we make sure what we bring to you is either organic, natural, biodegradable, recyclable, reused or leaves as small a negative impact on the earth as possible.

Social responsibility -- we interview our suppliers and ask for documentation to ensure that the people who made our products were paid and treated fairly, have safe and healthy work conditions, and are not operating under a "sweatshop".

COST Because our products meet a higher environmental and social standard they're priced accordingly. In other words... we WILL NOT be a part of the RACE TO THE BOTTOM. We believe the worker who made your shirt, your bags etc... should be paid a competitive wage. Enough to send their children to school and buy not only food, but schoolbooks, medicine, invest in their future... they should be able to see a brighter future for their children too!

SOURCES We're also really passionate about helping to restore life back into US manufacturing industries so we have a healthy balance of products that are Made in the USA. While some of our products are made internationally, we always do due diligence to make sure they are adhering to either SA8000 guidelines, Fair Trade regulations or local labor laws. SA8000

BAMBOO FABRIC-

The first time we tried bamboo, we fell in love. It has a gorgeous silky texture which feels a little like cashmere against your skin. Bamboo breathes much better than cotton so it keeps you cool even in the hottest days and it has natural moisture-wicking properties that also keep you dry and odor-free. Even more amazing is that bamboo is one of the fastest growing, most plentiful plants on earth, which requires no pesticide and very little irrigation. Further, the bamboo used for textiles is a different variety than the bamboo that Pandas love to feast on so our furry friends are safe. In other words it is far better for the environment than traditionally grown cotton.

Environmental Standards: Our Bamboo shirts are sourced from a certified Oeko-Tex 100 bamboo fiber supplier...that means it has been tested for the presence of harmful substances. At this time, all bamboo fiber is imported from China.

We offer two bamboo shirts:

• 100% bamboo crew neck in an un-dyed natural color which is off-white. This shirt is very silky and drapes a little loosely around your body⎯truly luxurious and a little elegant.

• 70%Bamboo, 30% Organic cotton white-dyed v-neck tee shirt which has a heavier feel to it than the 100% bamboo. The cotton gives it just enough bulk to drape exactly like a regular tee shirt but the bamboo will make it one of your favorite tees ever! This shirt is not bleached but rather dyed white⎯better for the environment.

Organic Cotton-

Our 100% Organic Cotton Shirts are from organically grown cotton and do not contain dye, bleach, or harmful substances. Traditionally grown cotton requires an immense amount of pesticides, irrigation and synthetic chemicals. In fact, 25% of all global pesticide usage is for traditionally grown cotton. The EPA has stated that seven of the top fifteen insecticides used on cotton in the US can be considered as "possible," "likely," "probable," or "known" human carcinogens. Organically grown cotton uses natural pesticides including ladybugs. It protects our health and the planet by reducing the overall exposure to toxic chemicals that can end up in the ground, air, water and food supply, many of which can have severe health consequences, from asthma to cancer.

Our 100% organic cotton shirts are currently made in Peru.

Our 100% Organic cotton tote bags are "grown and sewn" in the USA, and decorated by us with uplifting words & artwork.

Dye Most of our graphics are printed via direct to fabric printing leaving no dye waste. The colored shirts were dyed using low impact reactive dye procedures which means most of the dye ended up on the fabric (roughly 80%) instead of in the environment. It's not 100% green but then no dyeing process on fabric currently is. It's the best that's available at the moment.

SOY CANDLES Our soy candles are made in the USA and are decorated by us with our unique artwork and positive messages. Soy burns FAR cleaner than paraffin so its better for you and the environment.
